POSITION SUMMARY
As an Irrigation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of irrigation systems. Your role will include:
  • Conducting inventory checks of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure availability and usability.
  • Completing requests for irrigation parts and supplies.
  • Recording water usage from pumps and wells.
  • Executing special projects aimed at enhancing golf course features, including bunker and tee reconstruction, as well as drainage installations.
  • Maintaining the aesthetic quality of fountains, planters, and other landscape features through cleaning, repairs, and replacements.
  • Operating various vehicles to transport equipment and supplies.

In this role, you will adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security, reporting any defective equipment or unsafe conditions to your supervisor. You will also:
  • Ensure a clean and professional appearance.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
  • Foster positive working relationships and support team objectives.
  • Maintain quality standards and expectations.
  • Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Navigate various terrains and perform tasks requiring physical agility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
