Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Texas Health Resources. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Participate in unit-based council activities, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and staff satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
  • RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required.
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • ACLS - within 90 days of hire.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
  • 1 year ICU experience strongly preferred.
  • NIHSS - within 90 days of hire.
