Job Summary:

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is seeking a qualified Gynecologic Oncologist to assume System Section Head responsibilities.

This opportunity is part of a four-member Division of Gynecologic Oncology, offering a unique chance to contribute to the growth and development of the department.

About the Department:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Corewell Health has 4 residency training programs within Southeast Michigan, providing a rich environment for medical education and research.

The Gynecologic Oncology division is expanding its services across multiple campuses, including Royal Oak, Dearborn, Troy, Grosse Pointe, and Farmington Hills, with a strong support team of office managers, nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and front office staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services related to gynecologic cancers.
  • Assume System Section Head responsibilities, dedicating 2 hours a week to leadership and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Board-certified OB/Gyn.
  • Interest in teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
  • 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Unrestricted License - Michigan MD/DO.
