Physician - OB/Gyn - Gynecologic Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Gynecologic Oncologist to join our team as a System Section Head. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and contribute to the growth and development of our Gynecologic Oncology division.
Key Responsibilities- Provide counseling, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services related to gynecologic cancers.
- Develop and cultivate positive and productive working relationships with other Corewell Health personnel.
- Assist in meeting operational, financial, and patient satisfaction goals.
- Timely completion of all specific competencies and annual organizational mandatories.
- Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients.
- Provide quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective, appropriate manner.
- Communicate regularly with patients' families, referring physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and other hospital departments.
- Document medical services in the patient's medical record.
- Participate in on-call and weekend coverage, as required by the Department.
- Participate in value-based reimbursement programs and quality initiatives.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) / Quality Assurance (QA) and peer review activities.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Support patient participation in clinical trials and research projects.
- Provide oversight, teaching, and mentorship of fellows, residents, APPs, and students.

- LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
