Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Process Optimization Specialist to support the systems definition process in developing applications. The ideal candidate will ensure that requirements accurately reflect business processes and are understood during design and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain system requirements definition processes and modeling methods.
  • Apply expert knowledge of conceptual and logical modeling to analyze complex problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, directions, and market experience, relating them to our organization.
  • Familiarize yourself with our information architecture and information management methodologies.
  • Understand existing and planned software technology and global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends impacting the field and business.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly and simply.
  • Interface with senior management to provide and obtain information and build consensus on project direction.
  • Work with business representatives to ensure quality and accuracy in articulating business needs into technical application requirements.
  • Lead, manage, plan, and direct the work of business systems analysis personnel.
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years' experience with Power Automate, Power BI, Python, Automation Anywhere, SQL, GIT, and Jira.
  • 2-3+ years' experience with Snowflake, AWS, and Oracle.
  • Proven ability to research requests, opportunities for automation, and understand impacts in a complex matrix environment.
  • Strong ability to identify opportunities to optimize, automate, and operationalize applications and processes.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated experience/working knowledge of web-based applications desired but not required.
Desired Skills
  • Strong understanding of root cause analysis processes and tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience/working knowledge of web-based applications desired but not required.
  • Experience in financial services or related industry preferred.
  • Experienced in facilitating project teams, Project Management/Business Analyst Certification (or equivalent work experience) highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Decisioning Rule coding/programming is beneficial.
  • Experience with governance process and procedures is beneficial.
