We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, and grooming
- Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment
- Provide range of motion and passive exercises
- Assist with food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long term care preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
