The ideal candidate will be proficient in various cooking techniques including poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying, and must be flexible to work across different stations during shifts. A collaborative spirit is essential, as effective communication with fellow kitchen staff is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency.

Compensation:

$17 - $20 hourly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cooking stations with all necessary ingredients and tools for each shift.
  • Follow established guidelines for food storage and waste management to ensure high-quality meals.
  • Cook food orders on the line, ensuring items are prepared to order and meet presentation standards.
  • Maintain professionalism and friendliness in all interactions with guests, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Keep work areas, cooking equipment, and storage spaces clean and sanitary in accordance with health regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to comply with all safety and sanitation standards related to kitchen operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certification is required.
  • Must be detail-oriented, hardworking, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.
