Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Guidance: Provide daily leadership and guidance to our mechanics, working closely with them to ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform complex repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks, using advanced diagnostic techniques and tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of mechanics, providing coaching and training to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work meets the highest standards of quality and safety, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with our inventory team to ensure that all necessary parts and materials are available to support our maintenance operations.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with our drivers, management team, and other stakeholders to ensure that all maintenance work is completed on time and to the required standard.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in a mechanical or maintenance role, with a strong background in heavy equipment and truck repair.
- Certifications: Mechanic certification, CDL license, and other relevant certifications or licenses may be required.
- Strong Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of engines, anti-lock braking systems, transmissions, and diagnostic equipment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of mechanics, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
