Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Integrated Resources. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases, working closely with specialty proceduralists to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.
  • Critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to provide effective assistance to proceduralists, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Utilize strong communication skills, employing closed-loop communication to ensure clear understanding and effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case loads, upholding the highest standards of patient safety.
  • Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records and transmit images to Sectra/PACs systems, ensuring seamless communication and data management.
  • Manage groin sites post-intervention, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in response to changing circumstances.
  • Hold current licensure with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in radiography, as well as Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent organization.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
  • High School Diploma/GED, Associate degree, or completion of an accredited radiographic program.
  • NJ radiographic licensure.
  • BLS certification from an approved AHA or equivalent organization.
  • Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
