Job Summary

The primary focus of this role is to oversee the recruitment and admission processes for prospective students at Middle Georgia State University.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Management (60%)
- Strategically manage and coordinate recruitment events and initiatives within a designated geographic area.
- Engage with guidance counselors, parents, high school students, and non-traditional learners at recruitment events.
- Analyze recruitment data to identify key schools and institutions for outreach efforts.

Customer Experience Management (25%)
- Implement a personalized approach to guide prospective students through the admission and enrollment journey, utilizing various communication methods.
- Conduct informative campus tours for potential students and their families.
- Assist in organizing university open houses, preview days, and other enrollment-related events.

Administrative Duties (10%)
- Maintain comprehensive records of recruitment activities and contacts.
- Support the operation of the student information and correspondence system.
- Contribute to the creation of promotional materials.
- Participate in professional development meetings and workshops.

Additional Responsibilities (5%)
- Foster and enhance community partnerships through collaboration with Academic Affairs and other campus stakeholders.
- Undertake other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Other Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia or the ability to obtain one.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

- Relevant experience that provides a foundational understanding of the major responsibilities of this position, typically gained through internships or similar roles.

- Familiarity with Middle Georgia State University’s admissions criteria and academic offerings.
- Understanding of student financial aid principles and college recruitment regulations.
- Proficiency in computer operations and relevant software applications.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with effective presentation and organizational skills.
