Job Description
At Capitol Home Health - Clinical/Field, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Follow the plan of care and provide treatments as needed
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes
Requirements
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with current and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of employment
- Associates' degree in Vocational/Practical Nursing from an accredited program, preferred
- Two (2) years of recent nursing experience, with community/home health or medical/surgical experience preferred
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification
- Comply with accepted professional standards and practice
- Demonstrate good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
- Access to reliable transportation
