Job Opportunity

Job Summary:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students' educational and functional needs in Apple Valley, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as prescribed by the Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' functional abilities and needs.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student records.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) issued by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California.
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
