As a vital member of our team at Touch of Italy, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include welcoming patrons, processing food and beverage orders, and effectively communicating with both the kitchen and dining staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring proper collections and disbursements.
  • Receive the cash drawer at the start of your shift, conducting a thorough count of the funds at both the beginning and end of your shift to confirm accuracy.
  • Accurately itemize and total food and beverage checks within the register.
  • Process payments from customers, including cash, checks, and credit cards, while providing change for cash transactions and verifying identification for personal checks.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand and maintain a steady pace for extended periods, up to four hours.
  • Basic mathematical skills with a strong aptitude for handling cash accurately.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and their functions.
