About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Crimson Technologies as a Cathodic Corrosion Protection Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of cathodic corrosion protection systems for our gas transport pipelines, complex facilities, and facilities for protection against unauthorized touch voltages.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Operation and Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of cathodic corrosion protection systems, including CCS, LKS, and facilities for protection against unauthorized touch voltages.
  • Planning and Commissioning: Plan and commission new protection systems, and determine essential characteristics of the protection systems in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Service Provider Management: Manage service providers for conducting measurement and inspection work, as well as conducting and monitoring training, support, and quality assurance.
  • Follow-up Measures: Initiate, supervise, and evaluate follow-up measures from regular operations, including intensive fault location, intensive measurement, high voltage and stray current interference, and evaluation of anomalies in casing pipes.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of electrical engineering and corrosion protection, and participate in individual development programs to enhance your skills and expertise.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on cathodic corrosion protection. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have strong communication and collaboration skills. Additionally, you should be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and be willing to learn and grow with our company.
