Advanced Welder Expert

Clark Pacific is seeking a Metal Fabrication Specialist. This position requires flexibility in scheduling and the potential for overtime work.

A Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations at Clark Pacific, focusing on their area of expertise. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Clark Metal Works (CMW)

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in welding.
• Proficiency in Mig Welding.
• Experience with grinders and cutting torches.
• Ability to conduct precise measurements, layout, and fitting tasks according to technical drawings.
• Capability to interpret blueprints to ensure product specifications are met.
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification in Flux Core and Mig welding.
• A High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Background in general construction is advantageous.
• Experience in a Union environment is a plus.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and work plans, distributing them to relevant team members.
• Operating heavy machinery, including tractors, forklifts, cranes, and other vehicles as required.
• Leading and ensuring compliance with established safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOP), and job hazard analyses (JHA).
• Completing necessary documentation and performing material handling tasks for various materials and products.
• Preparing and assembling materials for manufacturing based on blueprints through various methods such as mixing, cutting, bending, and welding.
• Maintaining clean work areas by managing debris and hazardous materials appropriately.
• Operating hand and power tools, including tape measures, drills, welding machines, and more.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
