About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist to join our team at Twist Bioscience. As a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist, you will be responsible for advancing our bioinformatics capabilities and ensuring the robust, scalable implementation of scientific workflows across the Bioinformatics Analytics portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in molecular biology, genomics, and NGS technologies, as well as experience with biological sequence analysis algorithms and advanced statistical methods. You will also have a proven track record of implementing data analysis workflows for large-scale genomic data and a desire to dig deeply through various data types to gain insights.

Key responsibilities include developing robust analytical frameworks, designing and implementing scalable data analysis and bioinformatics pipelines, leading architectural decisions, building predictive models, collaborating with wet-lab scientists, and driving continuous improvement in both scientific analysis methods and bioinformatics software development practices.

Twist Bioscience offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and stock options.
