Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Northshore Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing safe and compassionate nursing care to patients in the nursery and post partum units. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient information and communicate with healthcare teams
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements:
  • Current professional nursing licensure in the State of IL
  • Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
  • BSN strongly preferred
  • BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider
  • Minimum of 2 years L&D experience strongly preferred
