Core Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physical Therapists in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Ensure timely initiation of therapy sessions and maintain clinic workflow for optimal patient treatment.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, prepare patient charts, and understand basic insurance processes.
  • Facilitate patient check-ins, clarify financial responsibilities, and collect co-pays.
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records systems, including Clinicient and Allscripts.
  • Uphold patient safety and confidentiality while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee supply management, including linen handling and sterilization of instruments.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance standards to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative, follow instructions, and effectively problem-solve in a dynamic setting.
  • Administer therapeutic modalities as directed by therapists.
  • Prior experience in Occupational Therapy or a related medical field is preferred; travel to various clinics may be necessary.
Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly wage ranges from $17 to $20.
