CHADS Coalition for Mental Health is a non-profit organization focused on enhancing the lives of young individuals by promoting awareness and preventing mental health challenges such as depression and suicidal tendencies.

Program Overview
The CHADS Family Support initiative offers emotional assistance and resources to families navigating the complexities of the mental health care system. Our offerings encompass counseling, support groups, and interventions addressing issues like anxiety, bullying, and suicidal ideation among youth aged 12-25.

Role Overview
The Family Support Therapist will provide empathetic counseling to families and young adults, delivering assessments, treatment, and resources to help them navigate mental health services. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting in-person or virtual counseling sessions for children and adolescents
  • Documenting billable hours for counseling and support services
  • Facilitating support groups for adolescents
  • Accurately managing and reporting data
  • Creating supportive materials
  • Participating in evening sessions as required
  • Completing assigned tasks diligently
Requirements
  • LCSW or LPC preferred
  • Experience working with age groups 12-25
  • Proficient with virtual counseling platforms
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Knowledgeable in crisis intervention
  • Valid driver's license
Salary Range
The compensation for the Family Support Therapist position ranges from $37 to $44 per billable hour.
