Assembly Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Myers Industries, Inc. As an Assembler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Review and follow work instructions to assemble and trim molded products
- Ensure all necessary information and tools are available before starting a job
- Retrieve and move products to designated areas as needed
- Use various methods, including hand and power tools, to finish molded products
- Complete product labels and ensure product identification throughout each operation
- Perform final inspection of products to ensure excellent quality before shipping
- Use a reporting system to record production
- 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferred
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English
- Ability to use hand and power tools and operate industrial equipment
- Ability to work in a hot and humid environment for extended periods
- Typical manufacturing environment with ovens, torches, and rotating tools
- Loud work environment
- Ability to remain stationary with intermediate walking throughout the shift
- Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds alone and parts more than 50 pounds with assistance
