Restaurant General Manager Job Description

At Loves Travel Stops & Country Store, we are committed to providing excellent customer experiences and helping our Team Members grow. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing all operations in the restaurant, ensuring our teams are focusing on the customer in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily managerial duties, including directing and coordinating activities to better serve customers.
  • Empower team members to be owner-operators and allow them to manage all aspects of their location.
  • Ensure our teams are well-trained to deliver world-class service and promote sales growth through merchandise execution.
  • Manage budgets and P&L statements, supervising and training 5-10 employees, and maintaining a clean facility.
  • Proven track record of providing a quality product and maintaining a clean facility.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years restaurant management experience.
  • 1+ years experience managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+ million.
  • 1+ years experience affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
  • 1+ years experience supervising and training 5-10 employees.
  • Proven track record of providing a quality product and maintaining a clean facility.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Intermediate level PC skills including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
