Restaurant General Manager Job Description

At Loves Travel Stops & Country Store, we're committed to providing excellent customer experiences and helping our team members grow. As a Restaurant General Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing all operations in our restaurant, ensuring our teams are focused on delivering world-class service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of restaurant management experience
  • 1+ years of experience managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+ million
  • 1+ years of experience affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements
  • 1+ years of experience supervising and training 5-10 employees
  • Proven track record of providing a quality product and maintaining a clean facility
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Intermediate level PC skills, including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
