Sonographer II Reg Echo Part Time

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer II Reg Part Time to join our team at Las Palmas Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing Echocardiography Ultrasound techniques and examinations for subsequent evaluation and interpretation by a physician.
Responsibilities- Perform Echo's on patients in all settings, including Intensive Care areas
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or downtime
- Conduct quality Echocardiography diagnostic studies according to physician orders
- Maintain accurate records of examination data and other pertinent information on patients
- Communicate findings to the physician interpreting the studies
- Notify physicians upon completion of studies
- Participate in 'On Call' coverage as needed
- BCLS Certification
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer in Echocardiography under ARDMS or CCI, obtained within twelve-months of employment start date
- Knowledge of cardiovascular system
- Able to recognize abnormalities, correlate information obtained, and convey preliminary findings to physicians
- Proficient sonographic techniques to produce accurate and appropriate physiologic information
- Flexibility with work situations
- Basic clerical skills
