We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Stress Engineer to join our team at CPS/Comtech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for conducting pipe stress analysis of systems adhering to ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model piping systems to verify flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.
  • Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver optimal design solutions.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement piping stress analysis procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other pertinent piping codes and standards.
  • Proven experience with pipe stress analysis software.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of related professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineering (PE) registration.
  • Experience with pipe stress analysis programs such as ME101 and/or Bentley AutoPIPE.
  • Prior project experience within the Department of Defense (DOD) or Department of Energy (DOE) sectors.
