Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Hill Country. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating all phases of nutritional care for inpatients and outpatients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nutritional assessments, evaluations, and planning to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain high standards of nutritional care and coordinate with all caregivers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized meal plans, taking into account patient medical history, dietary needs, and preferences
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to assess and implement the nutritional plan of care
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and disease management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
  • Licensed by the State of Texas or must obtain license within 4 months of hire
  • Registered/Registered eligible with the American Dietetic Association/Commission on Dietetic Registration
