Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at Lincoln Property Company. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general preventative maintenance and corrective repair of building systems, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and operational procedures to ensure maximum life and reliability of mechanical systems.
  • Responsible for general maintenance and operational duties, including performance testing, maintenance, adjustment, and care of HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, lighting systems, and miscellaneous building systems.
  • Enter equipment information in the property's maintenance record system.
  • Participate in company or external educational opportunities to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Respond to and complete tenant work orders and PMs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform duties within the required time frame as directed by the Chief, Lead, or Property Manager.
  • Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and other building-related supplies and tools.
  • Proactively inspect grounds and building appearance and condition.
Requirements
  • HVAC experience and knowledge of DDC and pneumatic systems.
  • Electrical systems experience, including breaker reset and IR studies.
  • Plumbing systems experience, including residential and commercial.
  • Lighting systems experience, including retrofits.
  • Miscellaneous building systems experience.
