We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will play a vital role in helping patients overcome opioid addiction and achieve long-term recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to assist patients in crisis management and coping strategies.
- Evaluate patient progress and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide bio-psychosocial assessments and develop aftercare plans to ensure patients receive ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate and current clinical records in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance file reviews and contribute to the improvement of our treatment programs.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in behavioral science and counseling/case management experience.
- Certified CDP or eligibility to take the certification examination in the state of Washington.
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
- Competitive salary range: $23.92 - $24.91 per hour for Counselors and $21.22 - $22.22 per hour for Counselors in Training.
