Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellness Nurse to join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting resident care, ensuring that residents' daily medication needs are met with dignity and compassion.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately follow the resident MAR to ensure medications are given according to physician's orders.
  • Understand and follow the 'Six rights of medication administration' and all of Bickford's policies and procedures regarding medication management.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
  • Provide direct resident care and supervision of non-licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Active license as a LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Willingness to take additional training or education, as required by specific states.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
