About Us:
UnitedHealth Group is a leading health care organization that combines local care with national expertise. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including primary care, urgent care, specialty care, outpatient surgery, and imaging, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday - No Fridays or Weekends
Monday and Wednesday: 8 am to 6 pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 8 am to 3:30 pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Clearly explain procedures and processes to patients to ensure their understanding.
  • Adjust imaging equipment settings based on patient-specific factors to produce high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
  • Conduct both specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
  • Process and review images for accuracy and quality control.
  • Prepare images for interpretation by radiologists or referring physicians.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment, coordinating repairs as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR software.
  • Experience in orthopedic imaging.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.22 to $45.43, depending on various factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience.
