Position Overview:

The Barback plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar by maintaining adequate stock levels and supporting bartenders in delivering exceptional service. This position involves the transportation of beverages and supplies, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization within the bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport cases of beverages, including beer, liquor, and bottled water, from storage areas to the bar to ensure stock levels are met;
  • Prepare and submit requisitions for inventory replenishment;
  • Ensure an ample supply of ice, glassware, and drink garnishes, while also managing the rotation of fresh fruit;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all bar areas as required;
  • Assist in restocking kegs of beer, which may weigh approximately 50 pounds, in the storage coolers;
  • Regularly clean reach-in coolers and rotate bottled beverages;
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash bins in the bar area and transporting waste to designated refuse bins;
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support bar operations.
