Job Overview

Mac-Tech, Inc. is seeking a skilled Press Brake Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and repair services for our line of Press Brake machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission new Press Brake machines, ensuring seamless start-up and operator training
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on Press Brake machines
  • Utilize electronic test equipment and mechanical measurement tools to expedite accurate diagnosis and repair
  • Replace pneumatic components, electrical switches, and small motor controls, as well as repair or replace fuses and lighting equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair using electrical schematics, parts lists, and mechanical drawings
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support at customer locations
  • Log service activity, expenses, and time tracking in our Service Management System
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure customer expectations are met

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial machine tool equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and electronics, with experience in Cybelec or delem controls preferred
  • Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and CAD/CAM software
  • Understanding of pneumatic systems, schematics, and components
  • Technical training or certification in a related field is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and handle diverse work assignments with minimal supervision
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Occasional overtime and overnight travel may be required
