Job Title: Court Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Court Coordinator to join our team in Watauga County, NC. As a Court Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the District Court Judges and assist with various court-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compose and prepare various materials, including correspondence, reports, and legal documents.
  • Track case status, prepare and distribute periodic reports, and answer questions regarding case status.
  • Schedule and resolve scheduling conflicts, and prepare court calendars.
  • Screen callers and visitors, answer inquiries, secure and provide information.
  • Screen and route mail according to contents of communication, including email.
  • Copy, file, and retrieve materials, and perform periodic follow-up.
  • Order and distribute office supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare continuing education reports and travel reimbursement requests.
  • May serve on committees and attend meetings as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in court administration, criminal justice, public administration, business, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in the court system to acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work described.
