Job Description:

As a Level II NDT Technician, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing on various materials and equipment at different job sites, including refineries, pipelines, and construction sites. You will use a range of testing methods, including RT, MT, PT, and UT, to ensure the quality and integrity of the materials being used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
  • Conduct tests to detect discontinuities and ensure quality
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications and standards
  • Interpret test results and report findings
  • Perform specialized inspections and instruct and supervise others

Requirements:

  • Certified Level II RT (SNT-TC-1A)
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in NDT
  • Experience with industry standards of NAS 410 and/or CP-189
  • Additional Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT, and CR certifications preferred
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results
