Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Transplant Pharmacist Specialist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors in a culturally competent manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing pharmaceutical care to transplant patients, including monitoring medication prescribing and dispensing
  • Working with patients, families, and the transplant multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care
  • Participating in educational programs and research projects to enhance professional growth and development
  • Dispensing investigational drug products for transplant-related protocols
Requirements
  • Completion of a PGY1 residency program or equivalent experience
  • Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist
  • Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCTXP) or an alternate Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification within 1 year of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hospital pharmacy experience
  • PGY2 residency in Transplant or equivalent experience
  • Registration in New Jersey as a licensed pharmacist immunizer
