Key Responsibilities:

This position plays a vital role in supporting our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in patient assessments and promoting their overall well-being.
  • Administering medications and monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Conducting laboratory tests and providing therapeutic services.
  • Educating patients and their families about treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, and available resources.
  • Documenting patient encounters accurately, including diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions.
  • Transcribing orders for laboratory tests, radiology, and medications, ensuring comprehensive patient records.
  • Maintaining a state of alertness and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background.

Experience:

  • No prior experience necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting of patients and objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to perform various physical tasks, including bending and reaching.

Licensure and Certifications:

Must possess the following:

  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license as required by the state.
