Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Imaging Intern to join our team at Ascension Via Christi. As an Imaging Intern, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our imaging team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care and support services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist imaging technologists and physicians in preparing patients for imaging procedures.
  • Prepare contrast media and medications as directed by supervising technologists.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
  • Transport patients to and from medical imaging areas.
  • Assist patients with general comfort care and complete paper and computer workflow procedures as directed.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • High school diploma equivalency or enrollment in an accredited program specific to the discipline required.
