About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our in-house therapy team at Arlington Orthopedic Association. As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting over 30 orthopedic surgeons and treating a diverse caseload of pre-op, post-op, and sports medicine patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closely collaborate with Physical Therapists to receive guidance and instruction for treating physical therapy patients.
  • DIRECT AND ASSIST PATIENTS IN A PROGRAM OF EXERCISES, MUSCLE RE-EDUCATION AND GAIT TRAINING.
  • Administer physical therapy treatment programs using various therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, hydrotherapy, massage, electrical therapy, and manual techniques.

Requirements
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Texas
  • Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and crawling motions
  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds or more with or without mechanical aids
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organizational and time-management skills
  • Well-groomed appearance and professional manner
