As a Physical Therapist Assistant at United Musculoskeletal Partners, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality treatment programs that cater to the diverse needs of our patients.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You will work closely with licensed physical therapists to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Under the guidance of the PT, you will direct and assist patients in exercises, muscle re-education, and gait training to promote optimal recovery and function.
• Using therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, hydrotherapy, massage, electrical therapy, and manual techniques, you will administer physical therapy treatments to patients.
• You will maintain accurate records of patient progress and billing procedures in accordance with established protocols.

Requirements

• A Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Texas is mandatory.
• You should be able to perform frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and crawling motions.
• The ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds or more with or without mechanical aids is also required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are necessary, along with good written communication skills.
• High-level organizational and time-management skills are essential for this role.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $58,000-$79,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible hours, CEU reimbursement, and incentive pay.
