Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures, including positioning patients and selecting appropriate radiographic techniques.
- Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information, exam results, and other relevant data.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- Licensed with the A.R.R.T. in Radiography.
- Current registration with the Texas Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control, Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) program.
- Valid healthcare provider CPR card.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to electrical and ionizing radiation hazards. You will be classified as Category 1 for exposure to blood-borne pathogens and will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, and stooping.
