CT Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at a prestigious hospital in the Dallas area. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a full range of radiographic and computerized tomographic (CT) scanning procedures for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Operate CT scanners and other medical equipment to ensure accurate and efficient imaging
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensure by the State of Texas as a Radiology CT Tech
  • At least 3 years of CT experience, with one year of quality assurance experience
  • Certification by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) Medical Radiologic Technologist, and BLS certification
