Job Summary

Sunland Asphalt is seeking a highly skilled Shop Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our fleet maintenance department, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing the repair and servicing of on-road licensed vehicles and heavy construction off-road machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Direct and supervise a team of mechanics and technicians to perform repairs and maintenance
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with field supervisors to prioritize and assign work orders
  • Manage inventory and order parts and materials as needed
  • Process fleet payable invoices and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
