Your Responsibilities
As a Sustainability Advisory Manager, your duties will include:
- Assessing ESG issues and their implications on client operations to evaluate their ESG journey maturity.
- Conducting competitive analyses to identify gaps in ESG programs and reporting.
- Researching emerging ESG regulations and reporting frameworks.
- Performing stakeholder interviews to inform materiality assessments and prioritize ESG issues.
- Developing strategic plans to operationalize ESG initiatives.
- Creating decarbonization strategies and evaluating financial impacts of various approaches.
- Measuring the social impacts of sustainability initiatives.
- Drafting project scopes and budgets for ESG-related engagements.
- Leading teams on complex projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Contributing to ESG thought leadership and education.
- Innovating solutions that leverage practical knowledge and creativity.
- Collaborating effectively with other practices and industry groups.
- Utilizing data-driven techniques for quantitative analysis and trend evaluation.
Your Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in sustainability or ESG advisory services.
- A solid understanding of ESG topics, including climate change and sustainability frameworks.
- Experience in management consulting or team leadership.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel as needed for team-building activities.
