Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Small Engine Technician to join our team at Blain's Farm & Fleet. As a Small Engine Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of services and duties in our Small Engine Service Center, including diagnosing, assembling, and repairing various outdoor small engine products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair small engine products, including chainsaws, snow blowers, riding mowers, UTVs, and ATVs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Order and receive small engine parts, and assist with warranty claims
  • Assist in maintaining the store facility and equipment, including forklifts and lawn mowers
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to learn to use our Part Smart website to find replacement small engine parts
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
  • Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior automotive maintenance experience
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior retail experience
  • Excellent communication skills
