We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Small Engine Technician to join our team at Blain's Farm & Fleet. As a Small Engine Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of services and duties in our Small Engine Service Center, including diagnosing, assembling, and repairing various outdoor small engine products.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair small engine products, including chainsaws, snow blowers, riding mowers, UTVs, and ATVs
- Provide exceptional customer service and interact with customers to understand their needs and resolve issues
- Order and receive small engine parts, and assist with warranty claims
- Assist in maintaining the Service Center and performing facility maintenance as needed
- Maintain store facility and equipment, including forklifts and lawn mowers
- Be able to learn to use our Part Smart website to find replacement small engine parts
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Be able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Prior automotive maintenance experience
- Prior customer service experience
- Prior retail experience
- Excellent communication skills
