About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems within multiple properties for the City of Minneapolis Parking Division. This includes implementing and managing operating, maintenance, and repair programs to ensure maximum life and reliability of all mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control mechanical and maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, building management systems, and general construction projects.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of engineering/maintenance staff and vendor personnel, including delegating responsibilities and checking on work regularly.
  • Direct initiatives related to contractor relations, safety, energy management, and functions that promote optimal physical habitability.
  • Ensure compliance with expense guidelines, company policies and procedures, governing codes and regulations, and third-party owner directives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Four (4) year college degree; Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering or five (5) years equivalent work experience.
  • Valid Minnesota Driver's License
  • Minnesota State Chief "C" Boilers License
