Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Assembler role involves performing manual tasks along a production line or within production cells, focusing on the assembly or disassembly of various component parts.

Key Responsibilities:
As a team assembler, you will engage in an assembly line environment, rotating through various tasks or executing similar functions throughout your shift. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Adhering to product specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Checking the immediate assembly area for sufficient supplies necessary for the assembly process.
  • Requesting additional supplies through the appropriate channels as needed.
  • Inspecting assemblies and connections for proper fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies according to product specifications.
  • Addressing minor assembly and packing issues effectively.
  • Reporting any assembly-related problems to the supervisor for assessment and resolution.
  • Utilizing simple hand tools to complete job tasks.
  • Operating all equipment in accordance with standard work instructions and operational procedures.
  • Observing all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Reporting all incidents, accidents, or injuries to the Supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED (preferred).
  • One to three years of experience in intricate hand assembly or general assembly within a manufacturing setting (preferred).
  • Flexibility in work schedule and adaptability to task changes.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Manual dexterity and the capability to perform complex, repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • The ability to push and pull components during assembly.
  • Competence in operating necessary equipment and ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
  • The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • The ability to stand or sit for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Basic mathematical skills for performing calculations.
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.

Work Environment:
Exposure to noise, dust, and varying climate conditions is expected.
