About the Role
In this role, you will oversee daily accounting activities, manage journal entries, and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will also develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to support financial integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily accounting activities, including journal entries and month-end close processes
  • Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls
  • Preparing and analyzing complex financial data, reports, and forecasts
  • Leading process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting and operational workflows
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Reviewing and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • A process improvement mindset
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
