About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team at Total Education Solutions. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing individualized support and instruction to students who require additional assistance in reading, writing, math, and other areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide small group and one-on-one instruction to students in need of support in various academic areas.
  • Communicate student progress to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders through regular progress reports and Individual Education Plans.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Requirements
  • A valid credential in Special Education and an Ohio Department of Education (ODE) license.
  • A current background check through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
  • A current tuberculosis (TB) test within the last 12 months.
  • Valid automobile insurance with liability coverage of at least 25/50k.
Work Environment

As an Intervention Specialist, you will work in a variety of settings, including classrooms, clinics, and homes. You will be exposed to moderate to loud noise levels and may be required to lift or move objects. You will also work with individuals who exhibit diverse behaviors and needs.
