Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Crosslin Building Supply Inc. team. As a key member of our warehouse and lumber yard staff, you will be responsible for handling materials delivered to our facility and performing receiving and distribution-related functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in receiving, loading, and unloading materials, as well as sorting and storing them in a safe and organized manner.
  • Pull materials to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that loads are properly prepared for shipping.
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections and report any malfunctions to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant work experience is also necessary.
  • You must possess a valid non-expired driver's license and personal insurance (if applicable).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Familiarity with operating material handling equipment, including forklifts and truck-mounted Moffett forklifts.
  • Good physical stamina, enabling you to stand for up to 4 hours at a time and lift up to 75 pounds.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with normal Monday-Friday schedules and available overtime. Limited weekend hours may be required on occasion.

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
