Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Dispatcher to join our team at CTI, Inc. in Marana, Arizona. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of various commodities, ensuring timely delivery, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate customer orders and schedule loading and delivery of commodities.
  • Develop and implement precise time schedules to meet shipping dates and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Collaborate with drivers, managers, and customers to foster a seamless workflow.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following company safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training in other divisions.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in dispatching or transportation, preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Dispatch experience in the transportation, logistics, or trucking industry, preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience, preferred.
  • Area knowledge of Arizona & New Mexico.
  • Self-motivated with an unstoppable drive for success.
  • A natural talent for organization and multitasking.
  • Stellar communication skills that keep everyone in the loop.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to master new programs quickly.
  • Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate information in verbal and written form, as well as the ability to listen to, and understand information conveyed verbally or in writing.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to divide with 10s and 100s; ability to perform mathematical functions using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
